The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFEPT), in collaboration with the Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE) and JICA, has officially launched the Federal Non-Formal Education Strategy 2025 alongside the NFE Assessment & Certification Framework.
Vocational Pathways and Digital Monitoring
The newly launched strategy combines academic instruction with 18-month Middle-Tech and Matric-Tech vocational pathways, developed in partnership with NAVTTC. Implementation and progress across these learning streams will be tracked digitally through the Non-Formal Education Management Information System (NFEMIS).
Target Demographics
This initiative addresses an estimated 25.3 million out-of-school children across Pakistan. It is designed to assist non-formal education teachers as well as marginalized groups, including refugee and minority students.

Parents, guardians, and community representatives seeking details regarding Accelerated Learning Programmes (ALP) and technical streams can contact local non-formal education centers, PIE, or MoFEPT to identify available enrollment points.
